2D Data Matrix Bar Code Bottom Insert Makes Identification and Traceability Reliable and Convenient

The Wheaton CryoELITE freestanding vial makes identification and traceability simple. The 2D Data Matrix Bar Code bottom insert can be manually press fit into the bottom of the vial and held permanently in place by the snap lock design. The bar code is laser etched onto the same location of each white bottom insert creating a unique high contrast data-matrix identifier readable with standard scanning hardware.

To help with the changing demands of sample management, the 2D Data Matrix Bar Code Bottom Inserts are supplied separately in bags of 500 and can be press fit into the bottom of each freestanding vial. Wheaton can also provide user specified predetermined sequences. CryoELITE cryogenic freestanding vials are also available with bottom inserts (random or unique) preassembled.

CryoELITE Cryogenic Vials and 2D Data Matrix Bar Code Bottom Inserts are made from the same cryogenic radiation grade, virgin polypropylene. This ensures uniform thermal expansion over all working temperatures and eliminates the risk of the bottom insert separating from the vial.
