Custom Containers
Request a completely unique container based on your specific requirements for dimension, shape and
material. Manufacturing processes include extrusion and injection blow molding, injection molding,
injection stretch blow molding, tubular vial conversion and molded glass.
Choice of container materials include: High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Low Density Polyethylene
(LDPE), Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), Cyclo-Olefin Copolymer (COC), Cyclo Olefin Polymers (COP), Type I Borosilicate Glass and Type III Soda Lime Glass.
When we design your custom container will also develop the appropriate packaging to meet your specific
requirements. We can package containers in your company's trays or have our packaging engineer design a package
for you.
Bar Coding
Wheaton can customize a bar code solution to meet your specific application. If you need a different
material for the bar code, need a specific color to enhance identification, or even a different size or
shape, the engineers at Wheaton can meet your requirements.
We offer a wide range of symbologies and bar code formats such as pressure sensitive labels, laser, ceramic, photo imaging, flexographic and digital.
Whether it is your container, micotiter plate or ours, we can give you the bar code that will satisfy your tough bar code assignments.
Critical Cleaning
Wheaton can provide product processed and certified to meet your requirements.

Surface Treatment
Surface treatment refers to a process by which the inside of a container is deactivated via silanization or
siliconization. The coating provides a protective barrier between the contents and the glass, eliminating active
sites on the glass that could potentially react with its contents. With Wheaton's surface treatment process we can help in preserving the integrity of certain materials or extracts stored in glass containers.
Pre-Weighed Containers
Wheaton SciLutions can provide you with pre-weighed containers eliminating the extra step of pre-weighing in the
lab. Weights for each container are recorded to the accuracy of +/-0.2 mg. The results are summarized in a
spreadsheet allowing for each container to be fully traceable.
